"Welcome to Claymore EtonHouse! At Claymore we work collaboratively as a community of educators, parents and children to ensure meaningful and authentic learning. As such, our school has a family feel to it as we engage in community experiences to spark children’s interests and extend their thinking through inquiry."
Anastasia has been teaching at EtonHouse Claymore since the pre-school first opened to welcome families in April 2012. She has successfully supported Kindergarten classes for the past four years and now looks forward to her next enriching year at Claymore as she continues to support the families, children and teachers at school.
Anastasia has held various leadership roles and responsibilities within EtonHouse including Senior teacher of Pedagogy and later became Director of Pedegogy for the EtonHouse Education Centre where she supported with the induction programme for new EtonHouse Teachers. Over the past two years, she has been the Curriculum Coordinator at Claymore and has supported teachers with curriculum development and teaching support. All of these roles have benefited from Anastasia’s expertise and strength with curriculum, teaching /learning support and collaboration with others. She is passionate about inquiry based learning and looks forward to working with her fellow colleagues, families and children at Claymore. She hopes to continue her contributions towards a meaningful and supportive learning community here at EtonHouse Claymore for the next academic year and values parents as partners in this process.
Anastasia has developed herself professionally in her role as she has attended many Reggio Emilia Children in Singapore Workshops and a study tour directly in Reggio Emilia to experience the best practice in their world renowned pre-schools. The key values behind the educational project in Reggio Emilia continues to inform our thinking at EtonHouse and Anastasia is excited to make this visible in our Claymore community as she takes on the Acting Principal Role.
Anastasia looks forward to working with the Claymore Community to continue the successful implementation of our quality early childhood programme at EtonHouse.
