Job Description – Parent Liaison Executive

The Parent Liaison Executive works closely with the School Principal and Parent Liaison Manager in the function of promoting the school. This position will provide customer care services to students and their parents during their stay with the school. Essentially this position will be required to build strong and trusting relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Parent Liaison

  • Parental liaison, reception duties, phone enquiries
  • Meet and greet parents in the morning and at lunch time at the school entrance
  • Escort prospective parents around the school’s facilities
  • Documenting all complaints or queries raised by parents and bringing such to the attention of the Principal and Parent Liaison Manager
  • Liaise with parents on collection of subsidy cheques
  • Attend school functions and Open House that may be held outside of the contractual hours as required

Promotions and Marketing

  • Assist with promoting and marketing of the school
  • Assist with the planning of school functions and Open House

Transport Liaison

  • Liaise with company/companies providing transport for pupils to and from school
  • Deal with complaints regarding the transport services

Students’ Movements

  • Handle all admission and withdrawal documents
  • Keep track of student numbers in the school
  • Maintain current student class lists and keep teachers updated of same
  • Liaise with supervisor on MSF documents on submission/withdrawl

Management of School Uniforms

  • Liaise with uniform companies
  • Sale of uniform items

Administrative Duties

  • Assist in administrative duties including but not limited to:
  • Bill invoices, collection of school fess and issuance of receipts
  • Simple accounts and book-keeping
    • Stock-take and office equipment/stationery order

Who we are looking for

  • Diploma Holders with at least 2 to 3 years of related work experience in a sales management and business development role in the Education or Service Industry
  • Customer service experience is essential as successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing and prospective parents
  • Sales management experience is preferred
  • Experience working in a school environment will be an added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven, results oriented with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to multi-task is essential for this position
