Emelia’s passion of early childhood education led her to teaching at EtonHouse. Since 2007, she has been working with young children from the Nursery to Kindergarten levels. Emelia is a strong believer of the significance of listening to young children and their creative expression through hundred languages. She sees every child as an individual and as a part of a team with every right to be heard, valued, and respected.
In July 2009, Emelia accepted the role of Pre-School Director. Her interest in high quality curriculum delivery supports her work in leading the Vanda educators to explore ‘inquiry’ as a framework for their teaching. Emelia believes that everyone has an active role to play in issues relating to learning. She works closely with parents in collaborative partnerships for the best interest and development of every child. Emelia is also currently pursuing her Master of Arts (Early Childhood Education) with Roehampton University (London).

Ms Ng Shu Ping
Assistant Pre-School Director
Ms Ng Shu Ping originally began her professional career in business development
and marketing communication but with a strong passion for working with
children, she soon progressed to head the enrichment and education department
of a non-profit organisation. She later moved on to obtain her Graduate Diploma
of Early Childhood Education from Monash University, Melbourne. During her
study in Australia, she worked alongside esteemed early childhood professionals
and had the opportunity to observe the operation of a number of excellent
pre-school centres. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Early Childhood
Education. Ms Shu Ping joined EtonHouse Pre-school in January, 2006. She has
taught in various class levels from Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2. In August,
2008 Ms Shu Ping accepted the position of Acting Pre-School Director. She
is thankful to be working with a team of dedicated colleagues in EtonHouse,
Vanda.
