Group HR Director

 Job Role & Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen HR infrastructure in Singapore and China schools, handling full spectrum of HR through a consultative approach, acting as an advisor on HR issues to Principals
  • Conduct searches through appropriate online portals to recruit both local and international teachers for early years and primary years as well as other leadership positions
  • Manage compensation and benefits including staff costs, insurance, housing and related benefits
  • Champion and execute long and short term HR initiatives and programmes such as employee engagement, talent development etc.
  • Responsible for monitoring and guiding execution of HR policies, practices. strategies and programmes in local markets to achieve consistency in Singapore, China and the region;
  • Responsible for complying with labour laws in Singapore.
  • Play a key role in achieving internal alignment amongst Schools on HR initiatives and take the lead in co-ordination and control with external parties;
  • Supervise payroll function and ensuring that internal audit practices are in place to comply with CPF Act, Employment Act and other government legislations;

Job Requirements:

  • A Degree or post graduate diploma in human resource management with 8 - 10 years of related work experience from a similar or service industry;
  • Experience in handling full spectrum of HR at both strategic and operational levels
  • Commercially astute, hands-on, highly adaptable and independent;
  • Highly positive with a can-do attitude and a role model in service excellence;
  • Assertive yet diplomatic with strong influencing and excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Employment Act and related legislations from Government bodies;
  • Experience in the early childhood education sector is an advantage;

Parent Liaison Manager/ Executive
  • 5 years of working experience in the area of customer service is preferred
